Overview

MCS Group is looking for an IT Support Engineer for a 6-12 month temporary post in Belfast City Centre! As IT Support Engineer, you will play a hands on role in the day to day support of software and systems for our client. This is an on-site position in the Belfast area, so is ideal for someone who wants to avoid the Belfast commute!

The Position
  • Providing first to second line IT support, including resolving in person requests, tickets and also Email requests.
  • Setting up new user accounts and configuring hardware (including Android devices and modern printer systems).
  • Supporting internal projects such as asset management and cloud backups.
  • Managing MacOS, Active Directory and Office 365 environments.
  • Assisting with change management requests and system upgrades.
The Person
  • This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a customer-focused approach, confident working across a range of IT support tasks.
  • Experience in IT support, including Active Directory and Office 365 is essential.
  • Knowledge of modern printer systems and cloud backups.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Strong technical foundation in a BYOD environment, mainly in MacOS.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems.
  • Salary: £25-30,000 per annum.
  • Hours: 37.5-hour working week

There is potential for this role to transition into a permanent position in the future.
