IT Support Engineer

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to support our strategic growth and new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of the information system and network quality, meeting user expectations while ensuring maximum system security.
• Implement and support the operational and security strategy of the Group and the Company.
• Act as liaison between Group IT and UK business stakeholders for continuous improvement and technological advancement.
• Participate in defining strategy and implementing development projects.
• Perform needs analysis, technology watch, and propose improvements.
• Implement and administer operating systems and networks with the IT department.
• Maintain and develop system and network infrastructure and provide technical support for new system projects.

Qualifications / Skills

• Architecture and system functionality knowledge.
• Telecommunications technologies and Internet proficiency.
• Office environments and operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server2016, Linux).
• Active Directory and LDAP directories.
• IT and telecommunications security standards and procedures.
• Network and system administration.

Knowledge

• VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Communication protocols.
• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT equipment.

Highly Valued

• 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.

Place of Work

• Position based in Poole or Coventry with frequent travel to both company offices.
• Hybrid working after probation period.

Hours of Work

• 40 hours per week (8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday; 30‑minute lunch break).
