Reed Technology is working with a forward-thinking company based in Aberdeen, currently seeking to hire an IT Support Engineer on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver first and second line support to end users across hardware, software, systems, and network infrastructure via phone, email, or chat.
  • Log and manage support tickets, ensuring all issues and resolutions are properly documented in the system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior technical teams when necessary.
  • Assist with setting up, configuring, and improving IT infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Work closely with other teams to troubleshoot issues, share knowledge, and improve service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, including hands‑on experience with Tier 1 & 2 troubleshooting.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.
  • Experience administering Office 365 applications.
  • Experience with Active Directory and MFA tools.
  • Familiarity with network (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and Wi‑Fi) troubleshooting and basic network administration (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls).
