About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our IT Services team, primarily based at our Truro campus with some flexibility to work across our other sites. You'll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the College's IT and AV systems, ensuring a high-quality and responsive service for both staff and students.

Working within a collaborative team, you'll handle a wide range of IT support requests, from troubleshooting hardware and software issues to assisting with installations, maintenance and project work. The role will also involve occasional travel between sites to provide cover and technical support.

About You

You’ll have experience working in an IT support environment, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365, alongside good knowledge of macOS, iOS, and Android platforms. You’ll be confident diagnosing hardware and software issues, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy delivering great customer service in a busy environment.

A relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience is essential, and you’ll need access to suitable transport as the role involves travel between campuses.
