IT Support Desk Engineer needed for a permanent role in Derby. Providing IT technical support to clients across the midlands.

A chance to join an established IT Managed Services business with a proven track record spanning 20+ years. Start ASAP in Nov/Dec 2025.

Key skills, experience + tasks:

  • Providing remote IT tech support for a range of customers to 1st/2nd line level.
  • Ensuring all actions are logged and managed via the IT helpdesk + visiting customer sites to complete IT service requests.
  • System monitoring, error logging, fault-tracking + IT incident management to ensure maximum service availability.
  • IT asset tracking, service provisioning + managing IT accounts for new starters/leavers.
  • Technical Environment: Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, Office 365, RRAS + basic understanding of Networks.
  • Soft skills: problem solving, attention to detail, logical, proactive, prioritisation + strong customer service skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
