Job summary

A leading IT support firm in Runcorn is looking for an Experienced IT Support Coordinator to manage fault calls and support engineers. The role requires technical support experience and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical customers. This permanent position offers a supportive team environment and ample opportunities for progression within the company. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a competitive salary from £28,000 per annum.

Overview

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an Experienced IT Support Coordinator at their hub in Astmoor Industrial Estate, Runcorn.

  • Location: Runcorn
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)
  • Pay: From £28,000 per annum
  • Contract: Permanent directly with our client
Responsibilities
  • Allocation of Fault Calls to Field Engineers
  • Effective allocation and utilisation of Field Engineer workloads to meet Service Levels and Customer Satisfaction
  • Utilising Accounting package to raise purchase orders
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the customer both internally and externally via voice and system updates to manage customer expectations on fault resolution
  • Report Writing within the timescales to meet contract objectives.

What we’re looking for
  • Previous technical support experience or within a similar role
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers
