We’re now looking for a motivated IT Support Apprentice to join our friendly team at our South Leeds site.

About the role :

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT. As an IT Support Apprentice you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting the day‑to‑day IT operations of a busy forward‑thinking business. You’ll receive training and mentoring from experienced IT professionals while working toward your qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first‑line IT support to staff across the business (in‑person, by phone and via email)
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other hardware
  • Troubleshoot software, network and connectivity issues
  • Support the onboarding of new users and management of IT accounts
  • Maintain IT documentation and asset records
  • Work with the wider IT team on projects and system upgrades
  • Ensure all IT queries are handled efficiently and professionally
You will need the following skills :
  • A genuine interest in IT technology and problem‑solving
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Organised and proactive with good attention to detail
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
Entry requirements :
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A‑C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for this instance – you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours : 40 hours per week 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday (one hour lunch break)
