Job summary

Are you an experienced IT Support professional ready to take on a new challenge in a global, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Second-Line Support Engineer to join a well-established technical support team based in Bournemouth.

In this role, you’ll be providing remote second-tier IT support to end users - troubleshooting issues, restoring service, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and system performance.

What you’ll be doing
  • Investigating and resolving user issues, recommending system or process improvements where possible
  • Escalating complex problems and ensuring they’re handled efficiently
  • Adhering to established IT standards, policies, and SLAs
  • Delivering training or guidance to end-users and junior team members
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the tools, technologies, and procedures used in a dynamic IT environment
  • Occasionally supporting out-of-hours operations, in line with local regulations
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience supporting Microsoft operating systems, Office applications, and email platforms
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft server, workstation, and networking technologies
