Job summary

A leading accountancy firm in Manchester is seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to provide 1st and 2nd line support, troubleshoot a range of issues, and enhance the onboarding experience for new joiners. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a fast‑paced IT Service Desk environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, and Windows 10/11.
  • A natural communicator—clear, confident, and calm under pressure.
  • A problem‑solver who thrives on challenges and takes pride in delivering results.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure services and user lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for all IT support queries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, mobile, and audio & visual issues.
  • Build and configure devices for new joiners.
  • Maintain and support end‑user tech including laptops and printers.
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests.
  • Spot patterns and implement long‑term fixes.
  • Create and maintain user‑friendly documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support the business.
