Job description

The Trust is seeking to recruit an IT Service Desk Operator to primarily provide support to users of IT systems and services across the Trust's Acute and Community footprint. You will support the use of hardware, software and telecommunications in the organisation, including providing high level remote IT technical liaison, support and network administration to computer users across the full lifecycle of incidents and problems. You will also receive and resolve requests for support and providing where appropriate, some technical fault diagnosis, advice and guidance.

Please note this is an on premise role based at Harrogate District Hospital. Interviews will be conducted face-to-face at this location. This is a non clinical role and does not qualify for Visa sponsorship.

The role involves close working with all teams within the IT function and throughout wider organisation, ensuring a quality client-focused service is delivered to users and providing first line support to users of IT systems and services across the organisation.

This role would suit someone who can work through technical issues, support colleagues that have a wide range of technical abilities, and have a logical thought process.

A successful candidate would be forward thinking, patient, able to simply explain technical issues to non-technical staff, and have good working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Android operating systems.
