A leading charitable organisation in the UK is seeking an IT Senior Engineer (Linux-DBA) to maintain Azure and on-premises infrastructure. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
The IT Senior Engineer (Linux-DBA) plays a key role within the Hosting Services team, which is responsible for maintaining both Azure-based and on-premises infrastructure. This includes comprehensive support for Windows and Linux operating systems, along with SQL Server platforms.
The engineer’s primary focus is on managing and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the Linux and SQL Server environments.
