Exemplar Health Care in Sheffield seeks an IT Security Analyst to safeguard IT systems and confidential information. You will own day-to-day security tasks and coordinate audits, testing and improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with endpoint and email security, Microsoft 365, Intune and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of cyber security principles, governance, risk and assurance.
• Understanding of security audits, penetration testing, risk assessments and security frameworks.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize work and see actions through to completion.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day security activities including monitoring, vulnerability management, endpoint and email security.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and threats, coordinating remediation where required.
• Identify, track and manage security risks and vulnerabilities through remediation.
• Coordinate security audits, penetration testing and other assurance activities, including managing findings to completion.
• Coordinate activities and evidence for security frameworks (NCSC CAF, Cyber Essentials, NHS DSPT).
• Conduct risk assessments and security reviews of suppliers and IT systems, contributing to security policies.
• Coordinate IT Security projects and continuous improvement activities.
• Produce security metrics, management information and assurance reporting.
• Manage security awareness activities, including phishing simulations, training and colleague guidance.
