Job summary

Boyes Turner in Reading is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a business change project, consolidating client data, onboarding compliance checks, and coordinating data migration and system integration across functions.

You will manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and governance, ensuring on-time, within-scope delivery while maintaining data protection standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, PMP or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering medium-to-large IT projects across the full lifecycle.
• Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, governance, risk, change and assurance.
• Experience managing vendors, implementation partners and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from mobilisation and discovery through design, build, data migration, testing, training, go-live and hypercare.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, resources and budgets.
• Own project RAID, risk, issue and change control, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, including Steering Group/Board reporting, stage-gate reviews and decision-making forums.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, Finance, Compliance, Business Development and Operations.
• Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring delivery against agreed SLAs, milestones and contractual obligations.
• Oversee data migration, systems integration, quality assurance and go-live readiness.
• Manage stakeholder communications, executive reporting and project documentation.
• Coordinate phased cutover and rollout to minimise business disruption.
• Work with Compliance and the DPO to address data protection, DPIA and data-minimisation requirements.
• Track benefits realisation and ensure the project delivers its intended business outcomes.
