Job summary

Saab UK is expanding its UK presence and seeking a passionate IT Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will deliver complex IT projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and report to senior project leadership to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery and high quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable IT experience with exposure to the full project lifecycle.
• Experience delivering IT projects across infrastructure, networking and security.
• Good technical understanding for secure IT environments.
• Proficient with project planning and tracking tools.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Experience with governance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of IT projects or workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project plans with internal teams and suppliers.
• Manage day-to-day activities, track progress and escalate risks.
• Ensure quality and governance standards are met across projects.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and change control.
• Coordinate IT changes across infrastructure with technical teams.
• Provide clear updates to stakeholders for informed decisions.
• Act as a point of contact to ensure smooth delivery.
