A transport and infrastructure firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to help shape the IT project delivery function. This role involves overseeing project delivery, ensuring high standards in documentation, facilitating communication, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have robust project management experience and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders. To be a key member of the IT project delivery function within the wider IT team, responsible for contributing to, and the delivery of, various work packages, workstreams and small/medium projects initiated from within IT and/or wider business projects and initiatives.
You’ll ensure the IT project delivery function delivers the right outcomes for colleagues and customers, doing so safely, effectively and efficiently and following the GWR project management methodology and adoption of best practice. You’ll help support and mature the IT project delivery function's reputation as a team that delivers on-time and on-budget.
