Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is recruiting an experienced IT Project Manager / IT and Cyber Security Project Manager for a multi-year technology programme in a highly regulated environment. You will deliver a range of IT and cyber security projects within a fast-paced IT team during a period of transformation.

The role reports to the IT Programme Manager for Cyber Security programmes and requires strong stakeholder management, delivery in outsourced environments, and familiarity with regulated

Qualifications

• A proven track record of IT Project Manager experience, including delivering highly regulated projects.
• Experience delivering IT projects in the Utilities sector or for Utilities clients would be advantageous.
• Experience delivering IT and Cyber Security projects.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries (Energy/Utilities/Defence/Nuclear/Government).
• Knowledge of managing projects in largely outsourced environments.
• Significant IT delivery, project & portfolio management experience.
• Project implementation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and Cyber Security projects with governance of scope, risks, and budgets.
• Liaise with IT Business Analysts and sponsors/stakeholders to support workload management and dependencies.
• Review business requirements and map to appropriate solutions; manage external tender processes with procurement.

A job opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Project Manager / IT and Cyber Security Project Manager to join a highly established organisation during a period of rapid technical and business transformation.

The IT Project Manager will join an innovative and fast-paced IT team during a period of transition and transformation.

You will be responsible for delivering a range of high-profile IT and Cyber Security projects within a multi-year technology programme, whilst liaising with several key stakeholders.

Reporting to the IT Programme Manager for Cyber Security programmes, you will work closely with the IT Business Analysts and key business sponsors/stakeholders to support workload management, dependencies, strategic alignment, and progress.

You will take responsibility for the end-to-end project delivery of the required solution, managing the project with full control of scope, risks, and budgets.

You will work closely with IT colleagues to review business requirements, match to appropriate solutions, and manage any external tender selection processes alongside the procurement team where appropriate.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate: A proven track record of having worked as an IT Project Manager, including experience of having delivered highly regulated projects Experience of delivering IT projects in the Utilities sector or for Utilities clients would be a distinct advantage Experience delivering IT and Cyber Security projects Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g.
