Job summary

HCA Healthcare UK is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead multiple projects from initiation through delivery at our London sites. The role involves defining scope, milestones and budgets, coordinating resources across sites and engaging senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic IT initiatives.

You will drive governance, manage risks and dependencies, and report progress to governance groups, enabling delivery of strategic technology enhancements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex IT projects end-to-end.
• Experience leading multiple IT projects concurrently in a multi-site environment.
• Strong governance, risk and issue management across the full lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement at senior leadership level and with suppliers.

IT Project Manager Location: 1 London Bridge, London (with travel across sites as required) Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables in partnership with business and technical stakeholders.
• Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish project mandates and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers and governance documentation.
• Coordinate internal resources and external suppliers to ensure delivery against agreed objectives.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyse business requirements and advise on scope, solutions and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and governance groups.
• Build strong relationships across IT, operational teams and business functions to support successful project outcomes.
• Support the delivery of strategic initiatives that strengthen and enhance HCA UK's technology landscape.
• Reporting oversight of Service Line Portfolios within ITG to ensure alignment with PMO delivery and prioritisation frameworks

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience delivering complex IT projects, including applications, infrastructure or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders, technical teams and external suppliers.
• Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies and governance frameworks, with experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP or APM)
