Responsibilities
  • Develop full‑scale project plans, timelines and associated communications documents to effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Direct and manage project development from initiating to closing through management of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, changes, and issues
  • Provide subject matter experience in managing infrastructure, network, security, and firewall projects
  • Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Initiate and oversee all aspects of vendor management including the development of the Statement of Work and all aspects of communications and delivery
  • Help facilitate Portfolio Management process working with management and business to understand project priority, resourcing, and planning
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and encourage project team members and contractors and influence them to take proactive action and accountability for their assigned work
What you'll bring
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a project management focused role
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project and/or Project Online
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with experience of managing relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are customer oriented.
  • APMP Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or Prince 2 Practitioner - preferred
  • Familiarity with PMI's Project Management Methodology, Software Development Lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum Framework - preferred
