Job Title: Project Manager Data & Insurance Domain

Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid / Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery within our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, experience in managing cross-functional teams (onsite and offshore), and preferably a background in the insurance or financial services domain. You will be responsible for planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects involving data engineers, data architects, and analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of data-centric projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Manage full project lifecycle initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using Agile and Scrum practices.
• Coordinate between onsite and offshore teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across time zones.
• Drive daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog management.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Business Analysts to define requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and resources while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project reporting to senior management.
• Foster continuous improvement and Agile best practices across the delivery team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5+ years in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven experience managing data-related projects (data migration, data warehouse, analytics, or cloud data platform initiatives).
• Prior exposure to the insurance or financial services sector is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and hands-on experience as Scrum Master or Agile PM.
• Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams (onsite/offshore) effectively.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Azure DevOps.
• Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience working in regulated industries (insurance, banking, or financial services).
• Familiarity with modern data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data governance principles.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage change in a dynamic environment.
