Job summary

Reed Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager for a 7-month FTC with hybrid working. You will lead end-to-end IT sourcing across software, SaaS, cloud, cyber, infrastructure, networking, hardware and managed services, partnering with senior stakeholders including the CTO and heads of department to design and deliver strategic sourcing across a broad IT spend.

The role offers a chance to shape procurement, oversee complex negotiations and drive cost

Qualifications

• Proven IT procurement and strategic sourcing experience.
• Strong knowledge across software, cloud, cyber, infrastructure and managed services categories.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Comfortable operating in an evolving environment with limited established processes.
• Experience of procurement transformation, service design or operating model change would be advantageous.
• CIPS qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

An experienced IT Procurement Manager is required to join a leading international law firm during an exciting period of transformation. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the evolution of the procurement function, working directly with senior stakeholders including the CTO and Heads of Department to design and deliver sourcing strategies across a broad IT spend portfolio.

You'll lead end to end procurement activity covering software, SaaS, cloud, cyber security, infrastructure, networking, hardware and managed services, while helping to shape the future direction of procurement within the organisation.
