As part of a multi-billion-pound global transformation, this FTSE30 FMCG powerhouse is seeking a visionary Director of IT Procurement (Infrastructure) to lead strategic sourcing and supplier innovation across the company's global technology estate.

Joining at a pivotal time of digital evolution, the successful candidate will partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Procurement, and Finance to shape and deliver a next-generation infrastructure strategy - optimising value from global vendor ecosystems and embedding cutting-edge sourcing practices across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the global sourcing strategy for IT infrastructure, covering cloud, networks, data centres, hardware, and related managed services.
• Drive technology vendor innovation and commercial optimisation, ensuring alignment with business goals for scalability, security, and sustainability.
• Partner with the CIO, CPO, and senior IT leaders to design and implement a best-in-class operating model for technology procurement and supplier management.
• Oversee large-scale supplier negotiations, framework agreements, and performance governance across global regions.
• Implement digital procurement tools and data-driven insights to enhance visibility, speed, and decision-making in the sourcing lifecycle.
• Represent Procurement at Board level where appropriate, contributing to strategic planning, transformation updates, and executive presentations.

Required Background

• Proven success leading IT Infrastructure procurement in a complex, global environment (FMCG, Manufacturing, or Pharma preferred).
• Strong understanding of cloud services, network architecture, and enterprise IT infrastructure procurement.
• Deep knowledge of P2P, S2P, and category management processes within a digital procurement framework.
• Track record of driving transformation, automation, and supplier innovation in technology sourcing.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
• Degree essential; MBA or MCIPS preferred.
