Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee and enhance our technology infrastructure. This role will lead the delivery, maintenance, and optimisation of IT systems—ensuring smooth business operations, excellent customer experiences, and alignment with commercial objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and project management skills, a solid understanding of the unique IT needs of multi-site operations with seasonal demands, and experience managing and integrating SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
  • Manage IT infrastructure across sites, ensuring uptime, security, and scalability.
  • Manage Service function in line with service framework; monitor and measure service performance championing continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Lead technology projects and deliver workstreams as part of wider matrix teams that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and sales performance.
  • Partner operational management to drive operational improvement and advice of the use of technology to resolve business problems.
Systems & Applications
  • Support and manage business systems across multiple locations including
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve service delivery and operational insight.
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and reporting accuracy across systems.
Security & Compliance
  • Maintain robust IT security standards, data protection, PCI and GDPR compliance.
  • Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Team Leadership & Support
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team.
  • Provide second/third line support for escalated IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to customer-facing operations.
  • Business partner business teams providing guidance, advice and support in the use of technology, areas for improvement and opportunities to solve business challenges
  • Ensure external partners relationships are managed, performance monitored and regular contact maintained to ensure operational effectiveness, cost management and functional capability / suitability are reviewed regularly.
Budget & Vendor Management
  • Manage IT budgets, licensing, and partner / vendor contracts effectively.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and technology partners to ensure value and reliability.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in retail, hospitality, or leisure industries.
  • Experience managing POS & Booking systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of Salesforce(Sales Cloud, Service Cloud preferred).
  • Experience with integrations between Salesforce and retail/hospitality platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
  • Relevant certifications (Salesforce Admin, ITIL, PMP, or similar).
