ICVCM is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead its IT function. This standalone role is pivotal in shaping and delivering the organisation’s IT strategy, managing outsourced IT services, and ensuring robust information security across all systems and processes.

The successful candidate will act as ICVCM’s IT subject matter expert, overseeing infrastructure, policies, and projects that support the organisation’s strategic and operational goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fully remote environment and enjoys working independently within a global not-for-profit organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement ICVCM’s IT strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Manage outsourced IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) and ensure contractual KPIs are met.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 tenancy, IT infrastructure, and security compliance (mainly via MSP).
  • Lead on IT and information security policies, processes, and training.
  • Plan and deliver IT projects to agreed time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT queries and coordinate with the MSP for resolution.
  • Manage software procurement, licensing, and IT budgeting.
About You
Essential

  • Proven ability to manage IT projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Flexible to work +/- 2 hours of GMT to ensure crossover with team members.
  • ICVCM is a fully remote organisation, as such experience with Microsoft cloud‑based environments (inc. Admin Centre and the M365 suite) is essential.
Desirable
  • Experience in a global organisation.
  • Working within a Not-for-Profit organisation.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, Microsoft MD102).
  • Experience securing certifications such as Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001.

  • Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 (FTE)
  • 10% employer pension contribution
