IT Manager

Position Summary

As the IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening our IT operations, with the freedom to influence key decisions and define your own responsibilities. You will lead the delivery and optimisation of technology solutions that support both local business needs and global IT initiatives, driving efficiency, security and innovation across the organization.

In this role, you will be an integral member of the STADA UK IT Team, while also collaborating closely with global IT colleagues across the STADA network. You will ensure that all systems, infrastructure, and digital solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in IT service management and operations, with a proven background in IT transformation, data and AI technologies, and SAP systems. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery.

You will report directly to the Head of UK IT, as well as global IT stakeholders within the STADA Group.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Foster and implement global IT strategy and standards that align with the organization’s goals
  • Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and security
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware
  • Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with relevant regulations
  • Lead IT initiatives, such as the conversion to SAP4/HANA, ensuring timely delivery within budget
  • Manage vendor relationships and service‑level agreements to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery
  • Develop and oversee the IT budget, proactively managing costs, and identifying optimisation and collaboration opportunities
  • Ensure prompt and effective resolution of IT support issues, enhancing business productivity and user satisfaction
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes and requirements and recommend Data & AI and Automation solutions that best fit their needs
  • Work cross‑functionally with departments including Tendering teams, Supply Chain, Culture & People, and Finance to deliver tailored IT solutions
  • Maintain clear communication with senior management and end users regarding service updates, outages, and project progress
  • Ensure documentation and reporting standards are upheld across systems and services
What We Are Looking For
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of IT experience, including 3 years in project and transformation management
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA environments
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modelling, and analytics within cloud‑based architectures
  • Familiarity with UK regulatory compliance and data protection (GDPR) requirements
  • Understanding of GxP‑compliant environments and the ability to maintain validated IT systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluency in English
