Job description

You will be responsible for the system maintenance, management, design, and support for all aspects of the business based across the UK. The number of users on any one site can vary from 80-150 on a daily basis across 22 sites.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Configuration and deployment of desktops and laptops running Microsoft Windows, as well as peripherals.
2. Utilising Microsoft Terminal Server to allow certain users to access servers remotely.
3. Managing third-party suppliers and support companies.
4. Providing cost-effective solutions through negotiation for all aspects of the company's IT systems.
5. Providing reports and IT proposals to the Managing Director/Partners.
6. Working within strict IT budgets.
7. Assembling and configuring replacement servers on site.
8. Implementing new systems.
9. Configuring VOIP systems.
