Our client is a company that is part of a multinational group, now seeking an IT Manager to oversee all IT functions. The company relies on bespoke IT systems to differentiate itself from competitors by satisfying customer requirements and optimizing logistics efficiency. It maintains its own ERP system and substantial bespoke systems across three sites. They are looking for an experienced IT manager with strong business analysis skills who can impact daily operations and contribute to long-term growth. The group manages WAN, security, and email systems; however, there is significant on-site infrastructure, including servers and networks at the Castleford site, often requiring quick changes. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all IT functions, including telecommunications
  • Ensuring backup/replication processes follow group policies
  • Achieving 95% uptime on key systems like SFDC and Syspro
  • Maintaining computer security systems per group standards
  • Managing user access rights across systems
  • Providing user support for all IT systems
  • Reviewing and improving internet, WAN, and network performance
  • Managing local IT infrastructure and development staff
  • Overseeing all computer-related activities
  • Managing IT projects from conception to delivery, collaborating across departments, designing, developing, estimating costs and timelines, and communicating progress
  • Creating an IT roadmap for staff, processes, and technology updates
  • Developing IT processes and documentation, including change management and disaster recovery

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in IT, Management, or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years in an IT supervisory role, and substantial knowledge of ERP and business processes.
