Job description
Overview

Objective/purpose: To lead and deliver robust, responsive, and forward-thinking IT support across the organisation, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing billing systems. This role aims to ensure operational continuity, drive technical innovation, and support field-based and internal teams through hands-on problem-solving, system optimisation, and collaborative development of IT infrastructure and workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive and effective IT support to internal teams.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the billing system.
  • Track and ensure connectivity, investigate and resolve issues with non-communicating software in collaboration with technical staff and field engineers.
  • Travel to sites to install, repair, and configure hardware.
  • Assist in generating and sending bills via the billing platform.
  • Contribute to the development and optimisation of internal IT workflows and processes.
  • Work with software suppliers to create, test and implement new solutions.
  • Carry out other tasks and duties as required appropriate to the post.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Full training will be provided; however, a minimum of 2 years' IT experience is required.
  • Customer service oriented, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrable ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders.
  • Clean full Driving licence.
  • Knowledge of Azure and/or PowerBI and Power Automate.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
  • Familiarity with router configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Power Automate (essential).
  • Exposure to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric (preferred).
  • Broad IT knowledge across hardware, software, and networking.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
