Avonside School in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic IT Instructor to deliver engaging IT and Computer Science lessons for KS3/KS4, tailoring activities for pupils with SEND/SEMH. The role focuses on practical, future-ready digital skills and hands-on learning to empower students.

You will partner with therapists and families, monitor progress using assessments, and foster independence, resilience and positive learning behaviours while contributing to an inclusive SEND provision and school

• Plan and deliver personalised learning experiences for a wide range of SEND and SEMH needs.
• Act as a Form Tutor, supporting pupils' academic progress, wellbeing and personal development.
• Work collaboratively with the therapy team to reflect pupils' individual needs.
• Monitor progress and use assessment data to implement effective interventions.
• Support pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Contribute to SEND provision and inclusive practice across the school.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external agencies for joined-up support.
• Contribute to wider school development and embrace emerging technologies to enhance learning.

Hours: 40 per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm

Salary: £29,000 per annum (not pro rata)

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
