Job Overview

IT Support Engineer – Formula 1. Factory‑based track support at Brixworth, Northamptonshire. Ongoing contract, 100% on‑site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for race‑weekend operations and weekday late/night shift work (10–15 weekends a year).
  • Troubleshoot, perform root‑cause analysis and optimise in‑house and bespoke applications.
  • Support and administer enterprise applications, middleware and infrastructure technologies (VMware, DHCP, DNS, AD/DFS/GPO, M365, Entra AD, MDM).
  • Maintain database support, administration and optimisation (SQL).
  • Monitor capacity, performance and availability using SCOM.
  • Enforce security, vulnerability and malware threat prevention; maintain strong LAN/WAN/WLAN knowledge.
  • Prioritise workload, self‑manage and deliver against demanding SLAs and project deadlines.
  • Escalate and resolve critical incidents quickly to achieve collective goals.
