Qualifications

Overview

Exciting opportunities have arisen within IT at ML, and we are looking for Field Engineers to join the IT Team on a FTC basis. The role primarily is to support IT services for both internal and external clients, supporting existing services and technologies.

The post is primarily based in Warrington with a requirement to travel across ML and Clients where required. A driver with own vehicle is essential and the ability to work flexible hours with the possibility of weekend work and Out of Hours support.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide portfolio of clients across Cheshire, Lancashire, Macclesfield including NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS England, HM Prison Service, NHS Trusts and GP Practices.
• Provide IT service support to internal and external clients, maintaining and troubleshooting existing services and technologies.
• Be flexible in working hours, travel, and potentially provide weekend and out-of-hours support as required.

Requirements/Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and MS Office Suite.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Hands-on experience in desktop technologies.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Operational experience in an ITIL-based IT operations environment (preferred).
• Methodical yet flexible approach, well organized, and highly motivated.
• Knowledge of working within the NHS and its systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle; willingness to travel as required.
