Qualifications

• Experience in end user compute, especially with Windows 11.
• Knowledge of firewall technologies including Cisco Meraki and Fortinet.
• Understanding networking principles, including VLANs and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Review tender specifications and design basic networks.
• Support and install IT infrastructure on-site across the UK.
• Document technical processes and maintain BMS IT Infrastructure.

Job Overview

You'll play a key role in Designing and installing control's networks working closely with our Field based controls team. The purpose of this role is to assist the IT Infrastructure manager with the continual smooth running of the IT systems. You will provide technical support onsite and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing tender specifications, designing basic networks.
• Visiting sites across the UK to support and install IT Infrastructure.
• Ownership of BMS IT Infrastructure.
• Liaising with 3rd party suppliers, Internal controls team and clients.
• Organise and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
• Technical documentation creation.

Qualifications

• Certified IT Technician would be an advantage (Comptia A+, Network+, Security+).
• A full UK driving licence.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

• End user compute (Windows 11).
• Server Knowledge - (phone number removed).
• Firewall – Cisco Meraki, Fortinet.
• Networking knowledge – VLANs, VPNs, SDWAN.
• Security – Key security concepts relating to Comptia Security+.
• Basic Information Security Experience (1 year).
