Are you a skilled in Building Laptops and Servers across Windows and Unix

We have a fantastic contract opportunity for IT Engineer to be involved in 2nd & 3rd Level Support and able to build Laptops and Servers.

THIS IS AN OUTSIDE IR35 ROLE:

Role Overview

• To build, deploy and maintain West Lothian Councils IT Infrastructure using the latest technologies. This infrastructure extends to Windows Server, Storage Area Networks, Virtualisation, Unix Server applications, Networking Technologies, Internet Connections, Windows Desktop, Mobile Devices and Application Packaging and Deployment.

• To deliver technical support and solutions to all members of council staff, pupils and council partners.

• To contribute to the process focused approach to IT Service Management.

• Provide technical skills to assigned projects.

• As a member of the Service Centre Team you will be responsible for providing a high level of technical skill to one or more of the following technical specialisms. Client and Server Management, Unix Server applications such as OracleSolarisLinuxStorage, Wintel, Technical Security, and Networking Technologies
