Job description

We currently have a vacancy for this role which involves assisting with building, configuring and commissioning of laptops, desktop PCs, tablets and other equipment across the city. This forms part of a continual programme of replacement/upgrading of IT equipment as well as specific requests for new equipment. The successful candidate will be expected to work to the highest standards ensuring that customer expectations are, wherever reasonable, not just met but exceeded.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of engagement
  • Experience of installing and maintaining all versions of Microsoft Windows operating system
  • Experience of working with Microsoft products, such as MS Teams, MS Office, SCCM, MS Intune etc
  • Experience of IT Support in a fast‑paced enterprise environment
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot software and application problems; install upgrade patches and hot‑fixes
