A prominent NHS Trust located in Gloucester is seeking an IT Support Technician to manage the delivery, setup, and support of IT devices across all GHC sites. This role involves imaging and configuring devices, managing equipment inventories, and ensuring IT policies are followed. Ideal candidates should have experience in IT support and relevant qualifications. This role offers a fixed-term contract for up to 6 months.

The Digital services team in the Trust leads on Digital strategy, development, coordination, planning, project, and programme management for all Digital and supporting functions. This role forms part of the IT Operations team within the wider Digital Service.
The main purpose of this role is to deliver a high‑quality, professional service in issuing, maintaining and upgrading the GHC IT Equipment Estate. It involves working across all GHC sites to ensure timely delivery, setup, and support of IT devices.
The post holder will be part of the core hub that will manage real‑time communications with customers on the status of IT and Clinical Systems and Operations, liaising directly with other services as required.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and will require a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
