DEVI TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED is seeking an IT Consultant in Birmingham to apply hands-on DevOps experience, improving software delivery, infrastructure automation and production operations.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, provision infrastructure as code with Terraform, and support cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualificações

• Hands-on DevOps experience across software delivery, infrastructure automation and production operations.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Proficient with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent.
• Experience supporting cloud infra on AWS or Azure and containerised apps with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiar with version control and configuration management tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.

Summary

Apply hands-on DevOps experience to improve software delivery, infrastructure automation and production operations.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps for automated application testing and deployment.

Provision and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent tools.

Support cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure and containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Manage version-controlled infrastructure and application configurations using Git and configuration management tools.

Develop dashboards, telemetry and alerts using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace or AppDynamics.

Define and improve service-level indicators and objectives to measure application availability and performance.

Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive improvements.

Automate operational tasks, health checks and incident remediation using Python, Bash or PowerShell.

Improve application performance, capacity, scalability and resilience.

Support disaster-recovery planning, failover testing and recovery procedures.

Integrate monitoring, security and reliability checks into software delivery pipelines.

Collaborate with development, security and operations teams to implement DevOps practices and improve release processes.

Maintain operational runbooks and mentor engineers in DevOps, automation, monitoring and reliability practices.
