Job summary

Comxps Ltd is recruiting for a procurement specialist to manage public sector IT procurements and CCS framework engagements. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and a solid understanding of procurement regulations.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to inform decisions, ensure best value, and support non-core activities as needed. Some travel to client sites is expected.

Job description

Salary: £To be confirmed on application (our client has asked for this not to be advertised).

Location: 60% attendance at client sites will be required (approx. 3 days per week) - can be outside of London if required. Manchester, Liverpool, Solihull and Leeds and Sheffield

Contracting Authority: Government Client

Contract Length: 31st March 2027

Clearance: BPSS

Essential skills and experience:

• Best VFM is obtained.
• Full understanding of public sector procurement, and procurement regulations.
• Full knowledge of CCS Frameworks, particularly IT and digital frameworks and methods of accessing those Frameworks.
• Experience in managing high value, technical IT procurements.
• The ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, bring together people and views to inform decision making, and be willing to support work that isn't part of your core role.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.

Essential qualifications:

• MCIPS or L4 CIPS qualified
