Overview

IT Business Analyst – Swindon

This is a full time, fixed term role for 18 months. Salary up to £50,000 depending on skills and experience.

About the role

Working closely with the Public Ownership Transfer team, you will ensure the IT workstream is effectively scoped, well-designed, and achievable. You will gather and analyse business requirements for IT services to support both the transition phase and post-Day 1 operations, while facilitating and coordinating the delivery of all IT-related data and information requests from the Department for Transport and Public Ownership Program teams.

  • Have a solid understanding of information technology and a good knowledge of business processes and operations.
  • Have requirements definition, management skills.
  • Have analytical skills.
  • Have experience with systems integration.
  • Have experience of working with business applications and working with process leads to define solution requirements.
Additional Information

This is a full time, fixed term role for 18 months. It is based in Milford House, Swindon, with some travel required across the GWR network.
