Leidos UK & EUROPE is seeking an IT Asset Manager to join the Service Management team in Huntingdon. The role oversees the lifecycle of IT assets, documentation, due diligence, and alignment with ITIL standards to support Leidos asset strategy.
You will report into the Service Delivery Manager and ITAM Team lead, ensuring the HAM service model is fit for purpose and aligns with customer and Leidos configurations.

IT Asset Manager is an integral member of the Service Management team (ITAM Team) and provides consistent & efficient management of Assets within the service for Leidos customers. The Asset Manager will be responsible for all IT assets, documentation, due diligence activities, interfacing with other departments to maintain alignment and resolve issues and managing key IT asset resources. Reporting into the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and ITAM Team lead to ensure the HAM service model is fit for operational purpose, support and management (maintainable and adaptable) and in line with the Customer and Leidos Configuration Management strategy.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in managing hardware, software, and network components over the life cycle. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure precise documentation and regular reporting on asset management activities. Agile Knowledge: Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) to efficiently work within an agile environment. Asset Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT assets, ensuring compliance with ITIL standards. Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence activities to ensure full lifecycle compliance and efficiency of IT asset management. Inter‑departmental Coordination: Interface with other departments to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly. Monitoring and Reporting: Manage, monitor, and report on the status of the IT asset management program. Optimization: Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the IT asset inventory and lifecycle management. Stakeholder Interaction: Interface with customer and stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met and issues are addressed efficiently. Collaborating with Programme or Project Management and Leidos procurement to ensure the identification and managed introduction of new or replacement Assets and Configuration Items. Working closely with the Service Operations team to ensure that implemented or changed services are capable of delivering to target service levels and performance indicators.

Pay range: £47,600.00-£61,000.00
