Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains is offering a Level 4 IT Software Apprenticeship Programme based in Brixworth. The programme leads toward a Level 4 Applications Support Lead qualification and involves exciting projects across Motorsport and Advanced Technology on the Formula 1 racetrack and road.

What do we need from you?

• To be skilled at problem solving, written & verbal communication, with strong attention to detail and task completion.

• You will have the ability to prioritise and be capable to perform under pressure and overcome challenges.
• You will have achieved GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in both Maths and English at a grade 4 or above.

Knowledge and Experience desired for this apprenticeship:

Delivering exceptional customer service

• Operational support within an IT department or equivalent
• Planning, organising, and delivering IT tasks within a team environment
• Software development and/or scripting in a modern software language, such as C# or Python
• Scripting, orchestration, and automation techniques
• Software development practices, technologies, systems and services e.g. MS DevOps
