Qualifications

IT Application Support Practitioner

Barrow-in-Furness. This role will require full time, on site working

Salary:

Circa £52,000

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Investigating, diagnosing and resolving technical issues reported by end users to ensure continuous system availability and user satisfaction
  • Providing hands on, immediate assistance to users often in person to help effectively use and troubleshoot Business Engineering applications and services, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance
  • Proactively monitored application performance and stability, identifying and resolving potential issues to maintain optimal service availability and user experience
  • Overseeing the administration of various toolsets including application configurations and development
  • Support with user administration requirements and configuration development
  • Monitoring the environment of applications and tracking performance
Your Skills And Experiences
  • Experience of using and applying MS and/or Oracle SQL
  • An ITIL certification is mandatory for this role
  • You will need to have prior experience gained with Siemens Teamcenter
  • Experience in the use of Linux and Unix based servers
  • Ability to undertake database problem solving
Desirable
  • Experience of applying PLM toolsets within an engineering environment
