IT Analyst - Springvale, Northern Ireland

Contract: 12 months (with potential to extend)
Rate: Up to £28.22 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week (7am start, Monday to Friday)

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Analyst to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in Springvale, Northern Ireland. Working as part of a regional IT team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of IT services, supporting both office and factory environments.

This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same - you'll be working across infrastructure, systems, and networking, helping to keep critical production tools connected and operational.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver IT services, including system and infrastructure support.
  • Carry out updates, upgrades, and maintenance tasks across hardware and software systems to enhance efficiency and security.
  • Provide effective technical solutions and investigate IT issues, driving continuous service improvement.
  • Support integration of IT hardware and systems across the organisation.
  • Assist in developing and executing system test plans.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify new requirements and potential project work.
  • Participate in governance and update meetings, ensuring compliance with IT security and internal control standards.
About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • An IT-related degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, resolve issues, and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience managing or collaborating with global teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and system support.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and server environments.
Working Environment

You'll join a supportive IT team of 14 people covering two facilities. This role is primarily based onsite in Springvale (with one other team member locally), offering a balance between office and factory-based work.

  • PPE will be provided as required.
  • Standard onsite working pattern: Monday-Friday (7am start).
  • Occasional weekend overtime opportunities.
  • Two-stage interview process (initial Teams interview followed by in‑person).
