Job description

IT Analyst
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Belfast, BT5
Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Onsite

We're looking for a proactive and skilled IT Analyst to join our clients team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, supporting colleagues, and getting involved in a wide range of IT projects that help drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Company IT Help Desk and provide technical support to internal users
  • Maintain and administer company hardware and software on a daily basis
  • Deliver internal user training and support for the company ERP system and Microsoft Office 365
  • Manage and implement IT projects to improve business efficiency
  • Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures
  • Prepare IT-related reports to support all business departments

Please note: This is not an exhaustive list, and you may be asked to carry out other duties aligned with the company's objectives.

Essential Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including Maths, ICT, and English (or equivalent)
  • Strong IT skills across hardware and software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (user and admin)
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, including Active Directory and Exchange email server
  • Flexible and eager to learn new technologies
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a team‑oriented approach
Desirable Requirements
  • A' Level or equivalent in a STEM-related subject
  • Experience in a similar role within a packaging or manufacturing environment
  • Microsoft Server training/certifications (including Exchange or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports, or EFI Radius
  • Experience with BI dashboards
