  • Modelling and Analysis: Support modelling and analysis in response to and in anticipation of changing interest rates to aid strategy and forecasting, including risk appetite calibration and scenario analysis.
  • Risk Management Strategy: Assist in defining risk management strategies and identifying impacts on earnings and capital.
  • Framework Implementation: Contribute to the creation and implementation of a robust IRRBB management framework, supporting remediation, transformation, capability enhancement, and the dissemination and adoption of best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across various functions and levels of seniority to analyse customer behaviours and pricing strategies in different interest rate scenarios.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Relevant Experience: Demonstrable experience within IRRBB or Treasury is essential.
  • Consulting Background: Experience of working within Financial Services (e.g., Bank or Building Society) or Professional Services (e.g., Big 4, Top 10).

  • Developing Modelling Methodologies: Experience of defining objectives, formulating and implementing methodologies would be preferable.
  • Financial Markets Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets and market products, such as fixed income and derivatives, would be advantageous.

  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: The ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of different seniority and geographical locations is crucial.
