Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) invites applications for a part-time IPCU post based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. The role involves delivering acute psychiatric care in IPCU, working with a Consultant team, and contributing to patient pathways from admission to transfer.

Qualifications

• Must have full GMC registration and licence to practice.
• UK-trained candidates should have Higher Specialist Training leading to a CCT or CESR/Eligibility for Specialist Registration.
• Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care in the Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit (IPCU).
• Collaborate with general adult psychiatry consultants and provide robust handover.
• Participate in on-call rota and contribute to service development.
• Engage in local CPD, attend division meetings and maintain high standards of patient care.
