Job summary

Design for Manufacture Resourcing (DFM-R) Limited is seeking an Integrated Project and Construction Management Engineer / Junior Project Manager on a contract basis at Aztec West, Bristol. The role is on-site three days per week, supporting a major UK nuclear programme with governance, reporting and data management across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, Configuration Management, or related discipline.
• Experience in project management, PMO, or similar delivery environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience producing reports, governance packs, dashboards, action trackers and meeting minutes.
• Strong data collection, analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Power BI.
• Excellent stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in regulated industries (nuclear/defence/infrastructure) advantageous.
• Able to attend Aztec West office three days per week with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the management and delivery of integrated projects and programme activities.
• Prepare governance presentations, reporting packs, meeting minutes and decision records.
• Maintain action trackers and ensure commitments are completed within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Design, Engineering, Delivery, Commissioning, Nuclear Safety and Project Controls.
• Collect, validate and consolidate project and configuration data.
• Produce monthly status updates covering KPIs, risks, programme impacts and configuration differences.
• Analyse differences between required, designed, built and commissioned configurations.
• Present findings, risks and recommended actions to governance forums.
• Support project assurance, self-assessments and audit activities.
• Produce dashboards, management summaries and programme reports.
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement activities.
• Help maintain alignment between configuration management, change control and data management processes.

Integrated Project and Construction Management Engineer / Junior Project Manager - Contract

The Opportunity

We are recruiting an Integrated Project and Construction Management Engineer, also suitable for a developing Junior Project Manager, to support the successful delivery of programmes and integrated projects within a major UK nuclear programme.

Working alongside the IPCM Delivery Manager, you will provide project coordination, governance, reporting and configuration management support across multiple workstreams. There may also be opportunities to take responsibility for a defined group of projects.

The position requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can coordinate stakeholders, analyse project information, maintain governance processes and drive actions through to completion.

Candidate Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience within project management, project controls, PMO, configuration management or a similar delivery environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience producing reports, governance packs, dashboards, action trackers and meeting minutes.
• Strong data collection, analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Power BI.
• Excellent stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the confidence to challenge data quality.
• Experience within nuclear, defence, major infrastructure or another regulated industry would be advantageous.
• Able to attend the Aztec West office three days per week, with occasional travel to other project locations.
