Job Description

  • Lead copyright and rights management strategy in partnership with legal services.
  • Develop and implement IP policies aligned with UAE law and international best practice.
  • Conduct IP research for permanent and loaned collections; prepare for museum opening.
  • Deliver IP training and workshops for staff; embed IP into onboarding processes.
  • Negotiate licensing agreements across broadcast, print, and digital media.
  • Support digitisation initiatives and digital asset management system implementation.
  • Align content strategies with organisational goals and support merchandising partnerships.
  • Manage procurement, system development, and cross-functional project delivery.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop staff to achieve high performance.


The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in copyright, rights management, or digital asset leadership.
  • Strong understanding of IP law, particularly in cultural contexts.
  • Proven experience developing copyright policies and negotiating licensing agreements.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems and digitisation workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in project management and team leadership.
  • Experience delivering training and workshops on IP-related topics.
