Job Description
- Lead copyright and rights management strategy in partnership with legal services.
- Develop and implement IP policies aligned with UAE law and international best practice.
- Conduct IP research for permanent and loaned collections; prepare for museum opening.
- Deliver IP training and workshops for staff; embed IP into onboarding processes.
- Negotiate licensing agreements across broadcast, print, and digital media.
- Support digitisation initiatives and digital asset management system implementation.
- Align content strategies with organisational goals and support merchandising partnerships.
- Manage procurement, system development, and cross-functional project delivery.
- Recruit, manage, and develop staff to achieve high performance.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 7+ years' experience in copyright, rights management, or digital asset leadership.
- Strong understanding of IP law, particularly in cultural contexts.
- Proven experience developing copyright policies and negotiating licensing agreements.
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems and digitisation workflows.
- Demonstrated success in project management and team leadership.
- Experience delivering training and workshops on IP-related topics.
