Job summary

Arc IT Recruitment Limited is seeking an iOS Developer (Swift) in Brighton to join a growing software company building modern mobile applications for a global client base.

You will design and build polished mobile experiences, taking features from concept to release, collaborating closely with a small team of developers, UX and delivery colleagues, and owning the full lifecycle from app code to API integrations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional iOS development with Swift.
• Strong SwiftUI knowledge and SOLID design principles.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and back-end services.
• Collaborative, cross-functional team player with end-to-end ownership.
• Nice to have exposure to Kotlin/Android, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate REST APIs and back-end services into mobile apps.
• Collaborate with UX, delivery, and other developers across the full product life cycle.
• Maintain code quality through testing and peer reviews.

iOS Developer (Swift) Brighton

A great opportunity for an iOS developer with strong Swift skills to join a growing Brighton-based software company building modern mobile applications and shared mobile components for a global client base.

You'll design and build polished, reliable mobile experiences, working closely with a small, collaborative team of developers, UX and delivery colleagues to take features from concept through to release. It's a hands‑on role with real ownership you'll be involved across the full life cycle, from application code through to API integrations, not just isolated UI work.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and building iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Contributing to Kotlin Multiplatform components shared across a wider mobile platform
• Integrating REST APIs and Back End services into mobile applications
• Collaborating cross-functionally to define, design and implement new features
• Applying secure coding practices and maintaining high code quality through testing and peer review

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift
• Strong SwiftUI knowledge and a solid grasp of SOLID principles
• Confidence integrating RESTful APIs and Back End services
• A collaborative mindset happy working across app code, APIs and integrations, not just UI
• Bonus: exposure to Kotlin/Android, CI/CD (fastlane/TestFlight), AWS/Azure

Location: Brighton, UK (remote on Wednesdays, early finish on Fridays)

Salary: Up to £60,000
