A financial services company in Glasgow is seeking an experienced financial analyst to support the preparation of monthly reporting and forecasting. The role involves analyzing financial data, collaborating with various teams, and developing financial models to aid decision-making. Strong analytical skills, a degree in Finance or a related field, and 5+ years of relevant experience are required. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial planning tools will be advantageous.
Primarily responsible for supporting the preparation of monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting and analysis related to the IOH business. Provides timely and in-depth financial insights, analysis and reporting to help drive business performance and support other business functions (particularly within Finance), to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Works closely with various teams across IOH including (but not limited to) Underwriting, Actuarial, Expense Management, Line Accountants, and Sales. Develops and maintains financial models, data and metrics to support strategic and operational decision making. Preparing variance analysis reporting and commentary, identifying and investigating anomalies and implementing controls where needed, as well as continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency, quality and accuracy.
