Job summary

A leading defence and technology company is seeking MQ‑9B instructors to deliver training at RAF Waddington. Successful candidates will teach crews how to operate the MQ‑9B and participate in relocation assistance for non-UK personnel. Job description
About the Role

Inzpire is looking for pilots, sensor operators and mission intelligence coordinators to serve as contract MQ‑9B (UK Protector) instructors. Conversion training will be provided if necessary, and once qualified, successful candidates will deliver instruction on the MQ‑9B at RAF Waddington, teaching crews how to fly and operate the aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver instruction on the MQ‑9B at RAF Waddington, teaching crews how to fly and operate the aircraft.
  • Adhere to the UK Working Time Directive, working Monday to Friday, and participate in shift work as required.
  • Assist with relocation for non‑UK individuals moving to the UK.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 250 hours on the MQ‑9A, MQ‑9B or a similar aircraft.
  • Instructor qualification as a pilot, sensor operator or mission intelligence coordinator.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Relevant experience: MQ‑9A and MQ‑9B flying hours; total flying hours across all aircraft types.
  • Availability over the next 12 months, with ability to start on or before 5 January 2026.
  • Hold (or have previously held) a NATO security clearance.
