Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support Credit Controller with overdue customer invoices.
  • Prepare and post recurring invoices.
  • Ensure invoices are sent out accurately.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Invoice and Credit Control Assistant to join us at our Head Office in Castle Donington, Leicestershire/Derbyshire., You will support the Invoice and Credit Control Manager with the general activities of the department and assist with ensuring the Invoicing and Credit Control processes and procedures are followed efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Support Credit Controller with chasing of overdue customer invoices by phone/letter/email
  • Preparation and posting of recurring invoices based on monthly usage
  • Production of any financial data required by Account Managers and the Sales team
  • Preparation and posting of quarterly invoices
  • Excel spreadsheet invoicing
  • Ensure invoices are sent out accurately
  • Resolve any billing errors that are raised
  • Take credit card payments for prepaid invoices
  • Update internal systems and records

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, office-based.

Qualifications
  • Experience using Business Central is desirable
  • Confidence with Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft packages, including Power BI
  • Good computer skills and strong typing skills
  • Experience with office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, etc.
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to provide clear and concise communication, either verbally or written
